Established in 1973, we have this year (2023) been working with porcelain and glass for 50 years!
Many things have changed over the years, but one thing is still the same: All our products are made at our own factory here in Denmark.
We were introduced to The Dog World in 1999, when we bought the company of Tove Svendsen Kunsthåndværk. We did not know much about dogs then, but we soon got over the ”panic” when customers asked us about a breed we had never heard of! We know much more now….
Our production has roots in the old porcelain tradition. The production is made by hand, and the products are fired at high temperatures (1.250 °C) in our special kilns. The firing process takes approximately 24 hours. This is the only way of achieving the exquisite blue underglaze quality.
The products in our range are made from the finest European porcelain. Each of our designs is carefully made according to the original drawing from the artist.
The dogs are shown in their unique surroundings – giving both meaning and atmosphere to each individual plate.
All plates and bells are shipped in a special Styrofoam box, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Each plate has been predrilled for easy hanging.
All our products are registered for international copyright protection.
There is a 24 months return privilege on all our designs.
